that very cynical approach to all ideologies they both have, and yet they can't escape them. That is so typical for intelligent, well-educated people.
I'm glad that works for you. It seems to me, they've grown up and been indoctrinated to a certain extent with different views (Sirius in Gryffindor and Lucius as a Slytherin/Death Eater) and yet they don't mean all that much to them. I think that's what I mean. :/
