You must see it right away! It's delightful even aside from the slashiness, and when you add in the fact that everyone in the movie is in love with everyone else, well...it's a gem. Glad the manifesto convinced you to give it a go. (My evil plan is working, muahaha...um. *cough*)
I haven't done much of a search for Swing Kids fic myself, mostly because that movie upset me so much I wanted to dig a little hole in the ground and cry, but now I think I might have to (especially considering that Christian Bale and Robert Sean Leonard are each halves of my two favorite slash pairings (the other one being House/Wilson from House). Yeeeeah...I think Christian's only criteria for doing a movie are: a) it should endeavor to have rear nudity if at all possible, b) no one will see it, c) critics will hate everything about it except Christian, and d) it will be very, very gay. /ramble
