Thank you for writing this it captured everything I love about the two of them being together. I held out for all those years waiting for them to become a couple in canon, and I remember watching Endgame and being in turn confused and furious. I felt betrayed, esecially since I didn't think Chakotay and Seven had any chemistry. Their pairing was illogical! *sighs* But you did a great job reminding me of why I was a devouted shipper for all seven seasons.
