I thought about that scene for a bit,a nd then I thought I must be forgetting something, so I watched the whole arc again (not that I needed much excuse) and no, it *was* the only time. Which is why I decided to do the essay, really.

Makubex's age is never actually mentioned in the anime. I frankly figured him for a young-looking eighteen when I first watched it - he doesn't act his age as a rule. (Although oddly enough, large age differences have never bothered me - a lot of my favorite pairings, and a lot of the pairing in my original fic, have large age differences.)
