Can't believe I hadn't read this before, where the hell have I been? These boys are my ultimate, rule-all OTP. *_* Love them dearly. It's funny to see only the first three seasons discussed, it feels like that was so long ago! I was surprised by your initial reactions to Bruce. I loved him from the beginning. I can't honestly say when I first started obsessing over the slash potential... What I think is fun are the very rare and few bits in canon where their coupling is sort of intimated. ("Grains of Sand" even though I know it was Walt in the other room. *makes face* "Revelations"...)
