The whole meltdown of the Stargate fandom after The-S5-ep-that-dare-not-be-mentioned pissed me off royally.
Ya know, I just don't get the meltdown, at all at all at all. Then again, I didn't see it when it was going on - but it seems like the fandom hasn't recovered entirely. I'm amazed at some of the stuff I read that dates back to then.

I love how you take everyone to task and say, "Just have it all!"
Well, I do that in real life, too. ;-)

The thing about Cold Lazarus - well, I lost a member of my family in a horrible way, and let me tell you, if an alien pretended to be him in a hospital and held my hand as we walked out, it would NOT lead to recovery. It would lead to SERIOUS TRAUMA. And how the heck did he ever explain it to Sara? Emancipation is no great shakes either, though. Usually when people want to start with first season, I tell them to watch "Torment of Tantalus", and then the last six episodes of the first season.

My only problem with the vid for "Something to Talk About" is that it's too short!
