I never really shipped anything in HP, but after reading this essay I am honestly shocked that I didn't start shipping H/H. All the moments you mention seem so obvious, and I guess my only excuse is that I was ten and never thought about romance at all, much less in books.

Even though I still probably won't ship anyone in HP, you have definitely changed my perspective on Harry and Hermione's dynamic.
