I can't believe I missed this when you posted it! ::kicks self:: Dude, this is succinctly put and gives all the reasons I fell in love with N/G (and admittedly, CSI) in the first place. And yeah, I've been kinda bummed on it lately with all the RL actor crap surrounding S5 and the craptastic writing of S4, but this-- Reminds me of why Nick needs hugs and Greg needs lots of hot sex with him. We may be a small subfandom group, but at least we get warm fuzzies and porn out of it.
