Agreed. There's a freshness to the way A/G are with one another that adds to their appeal. The balance/equality is a nice thing to see.
RE: Friday Night Lights - I don't watch, but I've been told, several times, about the awesomeness of Coach Taylor/Tami. To the point that people rec'd me the show solely for them. So I totally hear what you're saying, and think you're probs (hopefully) right that that's how Arthur/Gwen will end up being with one another.
