Really, that's one of my three reasons for disliking SasuSaku now. Three years is such a long time! It all depends on someone's view of love I suppose. I was angry at Sakura's fake confession to Naruto but when Sai revealed that she was going to kill Sasuke to help Naruto and prevent Sasuke from falling even further, my heart went out to the poor girl. It must suck to be a teenage ninja in love with the enemy.
I love Team 7 and I miss the way they interacted :( You described the bond Sasuke had for them perfectly, even the Sakura part didn't seem to farfetched heh (although the Valley of the End arc was kinda. . .nonbrotherly)

I completely agree with most of that xD During part one, Naruto and Sakura were basically just teammates who became friends slowly. It was Sasuke leaving that really brought them together. I never reallycould see NaruSaku until then. Now, I like them together because he respects her (which is a huge thing for me personally) and the way they interact is just so sweet it gives me cavities :3 but that's not really relevent :)
By the way, I want to add something to what you said in response to the arguement "Sasuke hates Sakura!" That one honestly irritates me. Yes, Sasuke thought she was annoying but at the end, he meant it affectionately. True, their bond was never as strong as his and Naruto's, but he's said so himself he cared about her!
