Essay posting begins on Monday, August 23, so I just wanted to take a moment to go over a couple of things.

1. Use the following format when posting:

Subject Line: Pairing/'Ship (Fandom)
Title:
Author:
Spoilers: if applicable
Email: Optional
Personal Website: Optional
Your essay behind an lj-cut

2. Flaming will not be tolerated; if you have concrit, feel free to leave it. This project is all about the sharing and pimping and the squee, not a "my 'ship is better than yours" deal. Please respect one another.

Hey, just curious about something - I thought I saw somewhere not to use spoilers, but I can't find that now, so I'm just wondering about that. I'd considered writing one, but the truth is, I honestly think that there's no way in heck it could be done without spoiling plenty of things for the game in question, and I was just wondering if that was a rule or not...? /rambling stupidly

You can use spoilers, but I think most people avoid them, so as not to ruin someone else's experience should they be interested in checking out the show after the essay.

But it's really up to each contributor. I just request that the writer indicate whether he/she has included them in their header when they post.
