And it's great to see that other people than just me have found Atara Stein's wonderful essay at genders.org. There's also another essay (http://www.temple.edu/isllc/newfolk/physical.html) there that mentions Q at least in passing - haven't had the time to read through it properly yet, but it seemed to be about queer theory and quantum physics terminology applied as symbolic, and it makes good use of Q and the Q continuum. Not a fandom/shipping essay as such, then, but still a most amusing read, I'm sure. ^__^
