I love Ikkaku/Yumichika! It's one of my favorite pairings in all of Bleach. Your essay was fun, and I loved all the panels. I'd forgotten some of those scenes. Plus, you gave me some stuff to think about! I'd never considered the 'lucky charm' bit. Very nice!

That said, I have to agree with shayheyred. I think it's kind of silly that you put that section in there. The canonity of other pairings has absolutely nothing to do with the canonity of Ikkaku/Yumichika, unless the pairing directly involves either Yumi or Ikkaku. Plus, trust me, I know people that could argue very eloquently that, say, Shunsui/Ukitake is just as canon. Just because Shunsui flirts with women doesn't mean he's not bisexual... Anyway, all I'm saying is that that section is kind of out of place. ^_^;;
