PGSM!Zoisite has the same character design/appearance as anime/manga!Kunzite (roughly). PGSM followed the manga more closely, so we'll go with that for now. PGSM!Zoisite and manga!Kunzite are both the ones who eventually gained memories of Endymion as master and went from creepily detached to caring about the other shitennou as a result. Also, of course, they had a large drive to serve their master again once they remembered him, and helped him while he was in the Dark Kingdom's hands. They also both distrusted Beryl at that point but were unable to break away from her.
In terms of the ship, this covered manga!Kunzite/Venus nicely. In PGSM, he has the HUGE 'I felt her... Sailor V', stalking Minako to her car, etc. He also made a deal with her late in series to mutually protect the prince's and princess's lives, the sort of deal you'd expect from the relationship between leaders of their respective warrior-elite teams described here.
