Hello there. I have never actually managed to get into Star Trek. I think because my parents love love the show and when I was younger I thought it was some show for "adults" and there was no way I was going to like something they liked. lol. I still haven't yet seen an entire episode from start to finish but I've seen snippets here and there. That said I had to check this essay out. I'm blown away. You did such an awesome job and for someone like me who always had something against ST (sorry, I can't say what ... except blame my parents) and has never seen an episode fully, that's an achievement. I'm actually now looking forward to possibly getting into ST and the K/S dynamic will be something to watch for I'm sure. Thank you for sharing such a great essay.
