Oh, one of my firsts ships~ (not that I knew about "ships" back then). This sure brings back memories. You've done a BEAUTIFUL job describing their relationship and all those perfect little moments they have. At this point, I'm a little disappointed about how it's not canon and all that, but I think even if they aren't, exactly, they have something so beautiful it's hard to miss.
I remember feeling very empty when Misty left. Not that I didn't like May, but I adored Misty so much it was sort of hard to stay. I didn't last long, anyway. Now I kinda want to go back and see some episodes.

It's funny, but this manifesto made me feel all "asdfghjkl; ❤" on the inside. It's a really nice feeling, remembering the times when I watched Pokemon everyday. Thanks for sharing and the links, I shall be entertained for quite some time.
