I don't understand Leon/Claire shippers either. Their justifications are usually hollow and feeble (at best), and they usually have to fall back on the "Well, it's just my opinion because I hate Ada," excuse, when they can't properly back up their pairing. (As a disclaimer: that's just a generalization; I know not all Leon/Claire shippers are just like that...However, I personally have /never/ encountered a legitimate reasoning from a Leon/Claire shipper, and their conclusions almost always include the "I hate Ada," comment). In fact, I've often seen Leon/Claire shippers claim that they don't like Leon/Ada because Leon and Ada have no chemistry (and Leon and Claire do? When?). I always find comments like this suprising. I doubt I'll ever understand them.
Resident Evil: Degeneration has actually been a bit harmful to our fandom as of late, as Capcom apparently decided to turn Leon into a whore (I honestly haven't seen the movie yet, so I'm going off of widely varying reviews of the movie). So it's nice to get a comment from a fellow Leon/Ada supporter. :3 Thanks.
