They take the fact that because Fred and Lorne used words supposedly synonymous with "destiny" that it was proof that the relationship was not real but forced because of fate to happen and totally ignore the friendship and love that was obvious on screen. I find that argument particularly funny considering the whole B/A relationship (which quite a few consider the OTP forever) is touted as the best one *because* they were destined to be together. Go figure. ;)
I agree it's truly stupid to ignore the relationship that Cordelia and Angel have -- and the destiny/fate argument against it does make no sense considering B/A. LOL.
I agree with you on Lorne as well, I actually think he should have been the only one to say a word to Angel and wish he'd had some conversations with Cordelia as well. He's the only outside character that should have been used because he's the only one who can read auras.
