I definitely agree that the actual realization of feelings for each other could have been "shown" better, but I know people who are against this ship strictly because of the words that were spoken and give no credit whatsoever to the 2.5 years of their building relationship that *was* "shown." They take the fact that because Fred and Lorne used words supposedly synonymous with "destiny" that it was proof that the relationship was not real but forced because of fate to happen and totally ignore the friendship and love that was obvious on screen. I find that argument particularly funny considering the whole B/A relationship (which quite a few consider the OTP forever) is touted as the best one *because* they were destined to be together. Go figure. ;)

[I would also like to point out that Lorne is anagogic and can read true feelings and, therefore, what he read in Angel and Cordy were their "true feelings." Yes, it's telling and now showing, but if someone needs proof that they loved each other his readings should suffice if they can't see it on screen.]
