Hmm...frankly I'm still not a fan of them together. I love Vimes and Vetinari, but I think both of them tend to work better as fairly asexual. On the other hand, you did a nice job of explaining why you like them. I think I'm just an irredeemably gen fan when it comes to the two of them.
