Great essay! Like many other folks who commented, I loved the Henry V moment. I also really like the moment when Spike is staying at Giles' and is bitching that they're out of Weetabix. They're like an old married couple there. :-) I agree totally about the chemistry between them, and you really brought out so many subtexty moments.

Thanks for rec'cing "Won't Get Fooled Again." I'm glad you liked it. :-) I'm writing a story now with Giles on top. I think they work either way. Don't know when I'll finish it, but I just love writing them.
