I LOVE this. I just stumbled on this manifesto by accident and i'm glad I did. I have ALWAYS loved Jacob/Bella and nobody can change my mind about that. I'm re-reading Twilight and it's interesting how Bella herself even says that her obsession with Edward is unhealthy. I really loved Edward/Bella in the beginning because they were always bickering and it was adorable. Then I read New Moon and I was all about Jacob/Bella. It pisses me off how people say that Jacob is immature and it's not an excuse that he's really young. It's a damn good excuse but not only that if Jacob thinks he has a fighting chance then he should go for it. Yes he could have just stepped aside as anti-Jacob's say would be the noble thing to do. But could he always go through life wondering "What if...?" Also Jacob made a point with that he hurt her once (more like shattered her and Jake had to pick up the peices) what makes her think he won't do it again. The Bella/Edward just got boring to me and too cliche' It was a lot more interesting when he was controling his urges to kill her. But seriously Jacob is just amazing and sometimes I think Bella is too good for him but they are so amazing together I can't help but love them and wish for an alternate ending...guess that's what ff is for. :p
