Okay, so I literally finished reading Eclipse five minutes before I read this manifesto (I book marked it while I was in the middle of New Moon), but omg, this is EXACTLY how I feel. Edward/Bella is obsession, not love. It's unequal. Bella and Jacob are partners. They are equals. She doesn't have to change herself to be good enough for him.
I just...*waves hands vaguely* I'm normally not like this. Normally, I'm down with the canon couples and the only time I ship other things more is for like...slash, or something. But seriously, I just do not see the appeal of Edward/Bella.
And I think this manifesto states exactly my reasons why. *draws hearts around it*
