This is a great manifesto, and not just because you recced my story. :) (Which I wrote on a whim after re-reading the uber-slashy Jeeves and the Feudal Spirit, and if I'd had any idea that people other than my small circle of friends were going to read it, I'd have given it a proper title. Oh well. Hindsight is 20/20...) I'm glad you mention the Junior Ganymede club, in particular: I expect Wodehouse had Ganymede's "cupbearer" role in mind, but was he blind to the other implications? One can only wonder...
