Look around; Bleach is filled with unrequited love or love cut off; Byakuya and his wife, Rukia and Kaien, Ichigo towards Rukia, Renji towards Rukia, Hitsugaya towards Momo, Momo towards Aizen, Matsumoto towards Gin, and of course Ishida toward Orihime, Orihime towards Ichigo... grim, but it seems to be a universal theme, these one sided and unanswered affections.
In that sense, "secondary" pairings--like Ishida-Nemu and Hitsugaya-Matsumoto (many would argue this was a primary pairing) are not bad; takes the end of one attachment for another to start. Not to diminish your hopes, but happy couples in Bleach are simply scarce.
