I've noticed a lot of generally het fans being drawn to Axel/Roxas. Maybe it's because they seem more like a real couple than the generic "throw these two hot guys together because they're rivals" yaoi pairings. Not that I have anything against such pairings, but Axel/Roxas is refreshing compared to those. :D
