Well, I think the whole movie is powerful. Actually I feel the beginning more in a lot of ways, but maybe that also is a reflection of where I am in my life. Still, nothing irks me more than hearing someone say "it started out slowly." No, it started out subtle, not slowly, and those are two very different things. I've watched just the beginning of this movie now about 18 times, but I can't make it to the middle very often. Still, there is so much to see in the beginning in terms fo subtle looks and subtle actions it's anything but slow. Mellow, yes. Not slow. What was I talking about?
