I was one of those few who were hesitant for the movie to come out. As much as I like seeing a movie version of it, it brought so many stupid fangirls into the fandom. Of course, with them they brought tons and tons of unneeded wank. Though, the only fangirls that really annoy me are the ones in love with the movie because Gerry is hot. God, read the book, see the musical...the movie isn't the only thing!

Though Susan Kay did write a very well written book I think it's better that other's seperate it from canon.

Definitely. It's a good book, but for all intents and purposes, it's merely published fan fiction. :sigh: Oh fandom, the problems you cause.
