Love the essay, so much that I've taken up the amazing offer - I so need to see it again.

And god...this series was out after I liked slash, but somehow it never quite sparked on my radar. I have no idea why not. Perhaps it was the very late night timeslot or the shiny addiction of the time (more likely that one).

But as my current shiny addiction is the flawed jewel Smallville, this was just the right time for me to see this.
