If you are at all a fan of popular fiction's various takes on the Devil--I'm a Lucifer reader too, though vastly behind--you really ought to get a hold of the series. (canthlian has presently gone mad and is offering it free (http://www.livejournal.com/users/canthlian/542581.html), so....) I think I actually prefer the Devil in Brimstone to Lucifer from Lucifer, at least in terms of accessibility for fic writing--Brimstone's Devil is infinitely more... approachable?
It's remarkable, really, how many different interpretations are possible of that particular character--and how few have been done, comparatively.
And every so often someone talks about trying to reconcile the DC Hell/Lucifer continuity with Brimstone, and then my brain breaks and I have to go sit in a quiet room for a while.
